Indian captain Rohit Sharma moved up a spot on Wednesday to eighth in the batsman list, while all-rounder Hardik Pandya moved up 10 positions to 76th among bowlers in the ICC-ODI rankings.
Shubman Gill remains India’s top-ranked batter at No. 5 while Virat Kohli was seventh after the update factored in performances in the Chennai ODI.
The batting table was led by Pakistan’s Babar Azam.
Mohammed Siraj in third place was the only Indian in the top 10 bowlers list, led by Australian Josh Hazlewood.
Among others, Afghan leaders Rashid Khan moved back to the top of the T20 rankings after guiding his side to a series of 2-1 wins over Pakistan in Sharjah.
Rashid, who won a wicket in each of the three games and conceded 62 runs from his 12 overs, has overtaken Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga to take the top spot among bowlers.
Rashid clinched the number one spot for the first time in his career in February 2018 and was last number one in November last year.
Mujeeb Ur Rehman, who grabbed two wickets each in the first and third games, is another Afghan spinner who moved up from 10th to eighth place, while five-wicket fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi climbed 12 places in the series and for the best of his career was third place.
In the ODI rankings, Australian leg spinner Adam Zampa has moved up three places to sixth in his career after winning four for 45 in game three against India in Chennai.
Series player Mitchell Marsh also made progress, jumping up four slots to finish 51st overall in batter with 194 runs in the series.
