IND vs AUS LIVE Result: India vs Australia 2nd T20 LIVE: While rain already forced the cancellation of training on Thursday, the 2nd T20 also faces an uncertain future. But rain aside, Team India has a lot to think about. The first of the game is bowling. Bad bowling and the absence of Jasprit Bumrah hurt Team India. Rohit Sharma would expect Bumrah to return and take charge while repairing a hole the size of a rishabh pant in the team as well as in the series decider against world champions Australia. Jasprit Bumrah’s fitness status will be a matter of attention as an out-of-line Indian team consider course correction. Bumrah has been out of action since the end of the England tour, having missed the Asian Cup with a back injury. However, to everyone’s surprise, team management didn’t use him during the scoring first T20I at Mohali, raising doubts as to whether or not he’s still at peak fitness. Adding to the team’s concerns, the “three-and-a-half” strong pace attacker, including Hardik Pandya, conceded 150 runs in 14 overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the veteran professional, has already been taken to the cleaners. He has leaked 49 runs in the three penultimate overs (19th) he bowled against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Australia. With this in mind, a fit and fiery bumrah is a staple for India as the home bowlers are increasingly found on batting belters.

IND vs. AUS LIVE: What to expect from 2nd T20 in Nagpur?

  • The worst thing about the team is that with only five games left for the T20 World Cup, the squad looks very unsettled.
  • If approaching the top 3 ahead of the Asian Cup was an issue, bowling was the bigger concern.
  • The experienced bowlers, including Bhuvneshwar, were exposed to good batting conditions.
  • India’s favorite spinner in all conditions, Yuzvendra Chahal no longer looks menacing.
  • He’s been expensive in the last few games and he’ll have to find a way to cause trouble for the batters.
  • However, all-rounder Axar Patel, who came on to replace Ravindra Jadeja, proved himself again.
  • India were also sloppy on the field, dropping three catches, which drew criticism from former head coach Ravi Shastri.
  • Designated finisher Dinesh Karthik didn’t have much of a chance on Tuesday and is likely to receive extra playing time.
  • Aside from Jasprit Bumrah and a last minute call to Dinesh Karthik, the team remains the same.
  • Umesh Yadav is expected to be dropped for Bumrah.

Australia, on the other hand, looked like a well-oiled machine. They are without David Warner, Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Marsh. The world champions have also played the fewest (10) T20s since their triumph. But with power throughout the squad, they are a side to beat.

All-rounder Cameron Green slipped into Warner’s footsteps in just his second T20I with a sizzling fifty at the top. Steven Smith and debutant Tim David also gave the team the boost it needed with key guest appearances. Veteran Matthew Wade also lived up to the finisher role with stellar 45s and 21s.

However, Australia would be hoping for a more disciplined show from their bowling unit after the pace trio of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Green bled out in Mohali.

Nagpur Pitch Report: However, the wicket at VCA Stadium will be different than the Mohali stretch. It is expected to be on the slower side, making the bowlers’ role more important in this game. When the dew goes down in the evening, teams will prefer chasing the totals to defending them.

Dejan Kulusevski in doubt for Tottenham’s North London derby after hamstring injury

Athletic say Tottenham could be without Swedish star Dejan Kulusevski for the north London derby against Arsenal after the winger suffered a hamstring injury. The 22-year-old has been one of the club’s standout stars this season, contributing 4 goals in seven league games.

With Tottenham and arsenal The season started relatively well and fans were very excited to see both sides play each other in the north London derby. This is especially true as only one point separates the two teams, although Arsenal were beaten Manchester United. But while the Gunners are reportedly nearing a fully fit squad of players, reports had suggested Tottenham would be without Dejan Kulusevski.

But while there’s no confirmation, the Athletic have revealed the Sweden international is in doubt for the north London derby and could miss a few more games for Spurs. This came after Kulusevski reportedly injured his hamstring during the international match with Sweden, despite being present in the 4-1 defeat by Serbia and the 1-1 draw with Slovenia. The report has revealed that the club’s medical staff are keeping a close eye on the forward, although they don’t want to rush into anything.

The 22-year-old has been one of Tottenham’s brightest stars, as only this season Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have scored more goals in the Premier League than Kulusevski’s four. With Son back on form from his hat-trick just before the international break, Spurs have finally found their groove, although the Athletic have gone on to report that Richarlison’s form for Brazil means the club have options should Kulusevski not get fit in time.

Mikey Musumeci says he hasn’t taken a single day off ‘in three months’

Mikey Musumeci is in Singapore and ready to do a very important task this weekend: eat pizza. But before he does that, the man named “Darth Rigatoni” has another very important task ahead of him.

At ONE on Prime Video 2, Musumeci will enter the circle for the second time in what will be the biggest match of his career to date.

Mikey Musumeci meets the Brazilian Grappler Clever Sousa in US primetime to crown the first-ever ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion. Ready to seize the moment, Mikey Musumeci revealed on the ONE on Prime Video 2 press conference that he had not taken a single day off in the last three months.

“I’m here in Singapore to do two things – do jiu-jitsu and eat pizza. And pizzerias only open after the game. So I’m here to do Jiu-Jitsu with Cleber, he’s amazing. I’ve worked so hard preparing for this match and I’m so ready. I haven’t taken a day off in about three months so I’m so ready for this match.”

In his first ONE Championship appearance, the New Jersey native earned an impressive submission from grappling icon Masakazu Imanari, scoring a submission in just over four minutes.

The five-time IBJJF World Champion has 58 career wins in the world of submission grappling. He will be looking for win number 59 on September 30th.

Mikey Musumeci believes the ONE Championship Submission Grappling rules bring out the best in competitors

Always innovating, ONE Championship reintroduced the world to submission grappling at the ONE X event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the promotion. Since then, the promotion has signed a slew of incredible submission grappling superstars and developed a ruleset that encourages submissions over survival.

Mikey Musumeci shared his thoughts on the ONE Championship ruleset, saying:

“It’s just a straight fight between two guys trying to kill each other with submissions. I have a feeling this format will bring out the best version of Cleber. And it should bring out the best version of me because it’s just an attack.”

The biggest difference between ONE Championship’s submission grappling and what you would see in a typical BJJ competition is the emphasis on submissions and submission attempts.

Within the circle, Submission Grappling matches have a single 12-minute round, with the only way to win being by tapping or napping. However, if no submission is made by the time limit, the contestant with the most submission attempts will be declared the winner.

No points. No decisions. The man who puts his opponent in the greatest danger emerges victorious.

Federer, who has been out of action for more than a year since Wimbledon 2021 while recovering from knee surgery, announced his decision to retire from tennis just days before the Laver Cup, saying the tournament would be his last event on the ATP Tour in his career.

He then decided to only play doubles on the first day of the tournament, teaming up with his longtime rival and friend Rafael Nadal. The dream couple played against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe from Team World. It wasn’t a fairy tale ending for Federer as he and Nadal lost the match. In the days that followed, Federer sat on the bench with his Team Europe colleagues and gave valuable input. However, Team Europe lost the tournament for the first time as Team World won the title.

Federer shared his thoughts on the retirement and shared some of his memorable moments from this year’s Laver Cup on his Instagram account on Thursday, writing: “We all hope for a fairytale ending. Here’s how I felt: I lost my last singles, lost my last doubles, lost my last team event, lost my voice during the week, lost my job.

However, he was delighted with the perfect farewell, writing: “Even so, my retirement couldn’t have been more perfect and I’m so happy with how it all turned out. So don’t think too much about that perfect ending, yours will always be awesome in your own way.”

He played his last singles match in Wimbledon in 2021, where he lost to Hubert Hurkacz in the quarterfinals. Despite not having a perfect endgame, Federer was the first man on the planet to win 20 Grand Slam titles and created his own legacy in the Tennis’ Open era.

It was a farewell never seen before as Federer has had players like Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray with whom he has shared some major rivalries in his career. All four players were collectively referred to as the “Big Four” and all were with Federer in his last match and played on the same team. Despite being rivals on the pitch for a long time, Federer had a great relationship with each of them and each of them gave him an emotional and fitting farewell, celebrating the person he is and his career that the sporting world would never forget .
