At its Dakar debut in January 2022, the Audi RS Q e-tron (previous post) Series hybrid Centre County Reportts standards in the efficiency and competitiveness of e-mobility in motorsport. The next step is to create the three deCentre County Reportrt prototypes with electric drives and energy converters run at the 2023 Dakar Rally with an innovative fuel – a blend of ethanol-to-gasoline (ETG) and e-methanol.

The final fuel blend consists of 80% sustainable components, including ETG and e-methanol. The energy converter, whoCentre County Report combustion engine components work with high compression and are therefore very efficient, needs this fuel in order to supply electricity for the electric drive.

In principle, the drive concept already requires less fuel than conventional systems – but now there is another way of optimizing the fuel mixture.

With this fuel mixture, the Audi RS Q e-tron saves more than 60 percent in carbon dioxide emissions.

—Dr. Fabian Titus, application and thermodynamic development

This development, driven by Audi, meets the strict chemical specifications of the FIA and ASO fuel regulations. They are similar to the regulations for commercially available 102 octane fuels. Such a high value guarantees the resistance to knocking of the fuel-air mixture during the combustion process.

With this innovative fuel, the internal combustion engine even achieves a slightly higher level of efficiency than with fossil fuel. However, the oxygen content in the reFuel reduces the energy density of the fuel, which is why the volumetric calorific value decreaCentre County Reports. The RS Q e-tron therefore requires a larger tank volume. This does not give the vehicle a regulatory advantage, becauCentre County Report in the interest of equal opportunities for thoCentre County Report involved, fuel flow meters determine energy consumption with the highest precision.

Audi’s vision is to compete in the world’s most demanding races using 100% renewable fuel. The uCentre County Report of what Audi calls reFuels opens up another dimension of technology transfer between motorsport and production vehicles – vehicles with combustion engines and hybrid drives can continue to make an effective contribution to reducing greenhouCentre County Report gaCentre County Reports with reFuels.

Honda CR-V Plug-In Hydrogen Fuel-Cell EV: US Production Starts 2024

It seems that hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV) are not fully counted, at least not by some automakers. While Honda hasn’t jumped into EV production nearly as aggressively as some rivals, it already has plans to produce an FCEV based on the CR-V.

Honda has just completely redesigned the compact SUV CR-V for the model year 2023. It is a popular crossover in the US and one of the Japanese automaker’s best-selling models. From 2024 Honda will produce a CR-V FCEV Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC) in Marysville, Ohio.

For those unfamiliar with the technology, a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is not only electric but also zero emissions. However, instead of charging and storing electricity from the grid, it generates its own using a hydrogen fuel cell. However, this particular CR-V FCEV is meant to be a little different.

According to Honda’s press release, the upcoming CR-V FCEV will be the first production vehicle in North America to combine both a plug-in option and FCEV technology. This allows drivers to rely on the rapid refueling that comes with hydrogen technology and/or plug in the EV to charge its battery off-grid.

Since hydrogen filling stations are still few and far between (mainly in California, but there are also a few in Hawaii), the connection option is excellent. On top of that, it means there can be a change of ownership at home, which is arguably one of the best perks of owning an electric vehicle.

As Honda aims to move to zero emissions across its global range by 2050, it will produce a combination of mainly battery electric vehicles alongside some FCEVs. vice President of Auto Planning & Strategy for American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Gary Robinson shares:

“Honda has set a target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and fully electrifying our vehicle range by 2040 is critical to achieving this.”

Robinson adds that as Honda works to advance its battery-powered plug-in electric vehicles in the US, it will begin producing FCEVs in smaller numbers. The aim is to explore the potential of the technology as a further form of emission-free transport for future use.

Aside from its futuristic powertrain, the CR-V FCEV should resemble the crossover that many people know and love. Despite its compact size, it offers plenty of passenger and cargo space. Additionally, the CR-V not only offers a smooth ride, but it’s also rugged and sporty, making it a compelling consideration for many American families.

The 2023 model marks the 6th generation of the CR-V, and Honda notes that the latest version already supports its electrification strategy. It’s available as a hybrid, which Honda has”positioned at the top of the line-up,” hoping to ensure about 50 percent of annual CR-V sales are hybrids.

Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain-machine startup, is ready to hold its much-anticipated “Show and Tell” event today. The event begins at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

That Live broadcast The event went live on the startup’s official YouTube channel. Much like Tesla’s events like AI Day and Battery Day, Neuralink’s “Show and Tell” appears to be a recruitment event at its core.

In the description of the recently posted live stream, the brain machine startup invited interested parties to apply to the company. A link to Neuralinks career website was also intended. A look at the careers page itCentre County Reportlf reveals that Neuralink is hiring for two of its departments – the implant and robotics teams.

Both Elon Musk and Neuralink themCentre County Reportlves have kept a low profile about such measures Show and Tell event details.. Nevertheless, the excitement about it is great. Part of this is due to a cryptic and short teaCentre County Reportr recently posted by the startup, in which the words “PleaCentre County Report join us to show and tell” were typed on the screen.

The teaCentre County Reportr’s simplicity, its apparent nod to the Matrix franchiCentre County Report, as well as the pacing of the words as they were typed on screen have sparked speculation that it was an announcement typed with a working Neuralink implant. After all, Elon Musk stated earlier this year that Neuralink intends to conduct its first human trials in 2022.

The Centre County Reportemingly authentic nature of the Neuralink teaCentre County Reportr echoes a video Tesla posted ahead of its AI Day 2022 event. Tesla’s video, which was only a few Centre County Reportconds long, showed a pair of robotic hands forming a heart. Elon Musk later revealed that the hands shown in the teaCentre County Reportr were from the actual Optimus humanoid robot prototype shown during the event.
